Nayanthara Say Goodbye To Acting

Gorgeous Nayantara seems to be getting ready to wear director's cap. The actress, who is busy filming Ajith Kumar's untitled movie, is assisting Vishnuvardhan in the upcoming movie. She has also directed some scenes involving Thala in the upcoming movie.If reports are to be believed, Nayantara has taken keen interest in direction department. After completing her portions in the movie, she joins the team of Vishnuvardhan. There are quite a few assistant directors for Vishnu and Nayan is also one among them. It is also said that the actress also got an opportunity to shoot few scenes of Ajith Kumar recently.Meanwhile, the movie unit has completed the first schedule of the film in Bangalore and Mumbai. The yet-to-be titled film also features Arya, Tapasee, Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Suma Ranganathan, Kishore and others in the cast. It is produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Ajith Kumar Beats Ranbir Kapoor!

Ajith Kumar has proved his star power again, as his latest trailer of his upcoming movie Billa 2 has garnered more attention than a much-awaited Bollywood film. Well, the new teaser of the Tamil movie has got more hits on YouTube than Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz starrer Barfi.Billa 2 and Barfi trailers were released on July 2 evening and both the trailers have been overwhelmingly welcomed by fans. But the interesting part of the story is that the teaser of Tamil film got more views than the Bollywood movie. While the Ajith Kumar's film managed to cross five-lakh mark in 48 hours, the Ranbir Kapoor's movie could only manage to cross 4.75 lakh hits.At the end of second day, Ajith Kumar's Billa 2 trailer had got 522,452, whereas Barfi had received 482,254 hits. However, the current views stand at 662,030 and 595,765, which clearly shows that Billa 2 is way ahead of Barfi.

The Billa 2 new trailer has taken the Ajith Kumar fans by storm. The latest video trailer, which was released on July 2, has got a record number of views on Youtube.The Ajith Kumar's trailer recorded five lalh views in just 48 hours and it is said to be the highest ever views got for any trailer of a Thala film in two days. As of now, the clipping has been viewed 552,399 on Youtube. The trailer has driven the actor's fans crazy that is making them to watch repeatedly and spreading the link through social networking websites and e-mails.The latest trailer gives hint about David Billa's transformation from an ordinary man to underworld Don. It also shows Ajith Kumar some punch dialogues and being part of rising action sequences. Meenakshi Dixit, Vidyut Jamal and others are also seen in the trailer.However, the trailer, which was released on Monday (June 2) around 7 pm It received over 3.5 lakh hits in less than 24 hours. The movie will hit the screens on July 13

Ajith Billa 2 Is Cancelled

It is a disappointing news for Ajith Kumar fans from the makers of Billa 2. Well, the trailer launch function of Billa 2, which was planned to be organised today (July 2), has been cancelled following a dispute between the producers and distributors of the movie.Rumour mills are abuzz with the news that the disagreement over a financial deal between the producers and distributors have lead the movie bosses to cancel the event. However, now it is said that the trailer will be directly released on a video sharing site on internet by today evening. Nonetheless, there is not any official statement by the makers of the film.On the other end the movie bosses are planning to start the Billa 2 promotions from tomorrow.Movie will release worldwide on July 13 in multiple languages.

Billa 2 Team Ready For Glitzy Affair

The Billa 2 promotions will start from July 2 with the latest trailer of the movie being launched in a grand manner in Chennai. The makers of the film have planned a glitzy function, which will be attended by the entire unit except Ajith Kumar.The film's lead actress, Parvathy Omanakuttan confirmed the news on Twitter. She wrote, On my way back to Mumbai but will be back in Chennai on 2nd for the Trailer launch and the rest of the crew will also be there Looking fwd Producer Aascar Ravichandran has also announced that they have been planning to have a function from a long time and finally now it is happening. Director Chakri Toleti, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal, Prabhu, Meenakshi Dixit and others will be gracing the occasion. However, it is no surprise that Ajith Kumar's absence from promotional events are not new, as the actor does not believe in promoting a film rather a good movie will get good publicity by itself.Billa 2 is a gangster-thriller film starring sensational waku doki Ajith, dazzling waku doki Parvathy Omanakuttan and glamorous Bruna Abdullah.
