It was reported on June 12, 2012, that Indian superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster movie Robot was released to a thunderous response in Japan.The Japanese love Rajanikanth's films and he is well known for his film Muthu. Actor Vijay Admitted In Hospital

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who plays an encounter specialist in Thuppaki was admitted in a leading hospital recently. Having Kajal Agarwal in female lead, he was shooting for some action scenes as per directions of AR Murugadoss for Thuppaki.Murugadoss is extremely happy to work with the actor and says that he is enjoying Vijay’s company each day. The film shot mostly in Mumbai deals with the underworld terror as Vijay’s character named Jagadhish takes on duties to ensure safety. He shot for some adrenaline pumping action sequences for the movie. It was during one of the scenes that he hurt his knee, and retired from the sets. The Thuppaki hero rushed to a London hospital, receiving treatment for his knee injury. Director Murugadoss, who still has work to be done assured fans that everything was going to be all right. Now a source close to the director confirmed, “Vijay is feeling good now & the pain in his knee has subsided.” His next in Thuppaki has actor Jayaram in a negative role and Sathyan handling comedy. Endukante Premanta Movie Review

Behind The Movie EP: A set of audience always wait for films from romantic specialist director Karunakaran. He arrived today with the beautiful pairing of Ram and Tamanna in the form of ‘EP.’ Amidst good expectations in public, tasteful producer Sravanti Ravi Kishore gave this product. Let us see how far Karunkaran lived up to the hype?

In The Movie EP: Movie begins in 1980 where a simple living Krishna (Ram), degree student deeply admires the traditional looking Sri Nidhi (Tamanna) belonging to a very poor family. Financial problems in the family do not allow Sri Nidhi to express her concern for Sri Krishna. Tragedy strikes in the form of a bus accident by which both Krishna and Sri Nidhi die. Fast forward to 2012, scene shifts to Paris where Sri Nidhi is re-born as Sravanti (Tamanna), a medico and is also a daughter of Indian Embassy Officer (Suman) whose Chief Security Officer is DK (Rishi). In India, Krishna takes re-birth as Ram (Ram), son of a small time businessman Krishna Rao (Sayaji Shinde) who is the head of a very big joint family. Unable to bear the mischievousness of Ram, he is sent to Paris where he meets Sravanti. After a series of incidents, Sravanti drives Ram to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. A big twist awaits here. Ram finds Sravanti in coma lying on the ICU bed. Then who is Sravanti in Paris? It’s not the physical body but the soul of Sravanti alone visible to Ram. Then, who are culprits behind this Sravanti’s health condition? How did Ram and his family save her from goons DK, Koka (Kona Venkat) and Madhav (Kasi Vishwanath)? When did Sravanthi realize Ram as none other than Krishna forms the rest!

Values of The Movie EP: Story visualized by Karunakaran is itself a blunder. How can a soul raise from body before death? It’s the duty of same Karunakaran to mesmerize us with scripting and narration in order to make us forget about the blooper. He falls flat in every department. Dull moments, slow pace and spineless script went on to test the patience. Dialogues by Kona Venkat were also the same lacking in punch and grip. Andrew’s cinematography filled the screen with grand visuals. Music by GV Prakash was the biggest of drawbacks. Production values of Sravanthi were top notch. 

Performance wise, this character is not a tailor made one for Ram. Neither there were enough situations to tap his high energy levels nor were peppy tunes to watch him perform magical dance movements. Though Ram looked stylish in superb outfits, his original aroma missed. Tamanna was gorgeous looking. Yet, her characterization wasn’t properly etched. An actress who has immense acting capabilities was made to look very normal in a desultory character. Suman and Sayaji Shinde were usual. Comedy by Brahmi as Principal Pandu, Krishna Bhagawan, Suman Shetty and others tried their bit. Villainy by Rishi, Kona Venkat, Kasi Vishwanath was also pathetic.    

              

Out of The Movie EP: For all those die hard admirers of Karunakaran, you are to be baffled for the kind of film this talented director offered us. No-where in the film, we find the brand entertainment of Karunakaran. Romantic thread weaved is absolutely logic-less. Never this man has gone to this extent of taking cinematic liberties. Even picturization of songs failed to reach the audience expectation levels. What was expected to be an innovative concept ended as a deceiving attempt! May be for the first time, he even failed to cash on the precious beauty of a heroine like Tamanna. Scenes where thrills are expected, graph fell very flat and the narration was quite predictable. Unfortunately, director could not give Ram a character suitable to his spirit.  Suspense, twists and turns aren’t captivating. Ram is a hero who oozes with bundles of energy and Tamanna is a powerhouse performer. Director failed to explore nothing out of them.  

Like the bluffing trick played by Karunakaran for ‘Darling’ is repeated again for ‘EP.’ Unluckily, result may not be same this time. If drawbacks in storyline are forgiven, at the least a proper screenplay and sufficient rhythm in narration is expected. Everything turned detrimental for commercial success of ‘EP.’ Take off was dismally very bad and film never aroused from then on. Interval block, which needs to be a mind blowing one turned pitiful. Second half begins with one or two emotionally entertaining episodes but soon unnecessarily added patchy episodes decelerate. BO wise, there are quite low chances of ‘EP’ to turn into a hit.    

          

Verdict of EP: Disappointing…Endukante…Karunakaran Total Fail Ayyadanta…

Romantic Gift Of This Firday?

This Friday is romantically refreshing as we have one of the fresh pair of Ram and Tamanna ready to entertain and thrill us with ‘endukante premanta.’ The film is geared to release today amidst good expectations. Director Karunakaran, familiar for exploiting simplest of romantic concepts with utmost sensitivity and superb screenplay has handled ‘EP’ so prestigiously with fair amount of budget risked. In fact, this is highest ever budget invested as a Ram’s project.Music by GV Prakash has already scored good marks and the visual captivity of film can be seen in the lavish teaser trailers. There are too many positive factors for this ‘EP’ because Ram and Tammu are in good from with back to back hits. Let us wait for few more hours to know, how touching is this ‘endukante premanta’?

Singam Is Launching Siruthai Audio

After creation a buzz trailer and the song, Vella bambaram Saguni all collection to hit the audio is theater on June 2.Release Music Album Review by Surya .it will be held at Sathyam Cinemas.which the film about the political thriller starring his brother Karthi.Director N Lingusamy has also agreed to attend the audio launch function.The buzz says that Surya and Director N Lingusamy are launch tha film audio.which has five songs composed by GV Prakash Kumar for which Na.Muthukumar and Vivega and others wrote the song.Saguni is produced by Antony Xavier and directed by N Shankar Dayal.The cast of the movie comprises Karthi, Pranitha, Santhanam, Radhika Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others.

Singam 2 Heroin Is A Gangster Girl

Hansika who loves to maintain her chubby looks has got a new role in Singam 2. The actress who has two Simbu flicks at hand including Vaalu and Vettai Mannan, also has her Settai shoots on.For Singam 2 she pairs up opposite Surya for the very first time. Director Hari has kept his original cast intact, and made some new additions too. Singam heroine Anushka Shetty does have a cameo role to play in Singam 2. We hear that Aachi Manorama too has been called in by Hari to take up a key role in the film. Heroine Hansika’s role is of a chirpy school going girl, in the flick. The role will be quite a makeover for Hansika who plays a gangster girl in her Simbu flick Vettai Mannan. Her Kollywood fans, who crowned her their dream girl, are equally excited to see Hansika don this new role in Singam 2. Music for the film is scored by DSP aka Devi Sri Prasad. The film also has comedian Santhanam roped in to make things even better. Singam 2 will go on floors as soon as Surya is done shooting his last song sequence for Maatraan in South Africa.
